The list below shows some important dates on the polar science calendar for 2013 and 2014. APECS Oceania is also planning workshops and events for this period. Some will be stand alone, while others we hope to run alongside conferences. Please keep these dates in mind. We will pass on important notices as they are released to us and also provide details of our own activities as plans develop.
Antarctic and Southern Ocean Science Conference

APECS International Penguin Careers Workshop (in association with the 8th International Penguin Conference)
When: 31 August - 1 September, 2013 (IPC, 2-6 September)
Where: Bristol Zoo, UK
This two day workshop will focus on communication and outreach on the first day, followed by penguin specific science on the second day.
